Melissa Greener: Sundry

Ah... life on the road - October 9, 2007

I had a fantastic gig opening for Shake Russell at the Blue Door in OKC a few days ago. What a sweetie-pie. than a bunch of fun playing with Abi Tapia in Fayetteville, Ark. Phil Lancaster happened to show up so naturally I made him set up his Mando-Cello and banjo. I played a very cool gig in Johnson City, Tenn. If ever ya'll get out that way, go to the Acoustic Coffeehouse and ask Jim to whip out his cello. I played two sets to a very eclectic crowd of academics, hippies, and execs alike. Jim sat in on the 2nd set and we ROCKED. Tonight I'm playing at The Pour House Music Hall in Raleigh, NC before continuing on for another 4 weeks. Yippie!

Home Sweat Home - June 22, 2007

Im so glad I decided to stay in Austin for the summer. Theres really no better place to Hole Up and write songs, prepare for a new record and gather oneself from much travels. INSIDE! The heat is on, Texas style... And Im sporting a fetching new hair-do. Short, sweet, and much awaited. Ive been wanting to do this for a loooong time... No short haired pix on the website yet, but there are a couple on my MySpace - www.myspace.com/melissagreener. Have a great summer!

The universe works in mysterious ways: - February 10, 2007

Funny, eh? I spent about 40 minutes in front of the ice-cream/non-dairy frozen treat section at Whole Foods ready to splurge... I left without a frozen delight in hand, feeling a little strong yet a little hopeless with my split second urge to divert from the temptation. Then, out of nowhere... the chocolate truffle man gave me two morsels of choco-oral orgasm - free of charge!

Yes, the universe works in mysterious ways.

Thank God.

Im goin to Graceland... - February 10, 2007
