Comment: Saw you last night in Beaufort at Clawsons. You were great. I play a little guitar for only about 50 years, but still awful. I can't figure out how you sounded like you were picking while playing rythym. Probably why I'm still awful. My right hand has never been able to function like it's supposed to. Well, well we all have our gifts. We missed buying CD's last night, but am visiting your store right now. Thanks for the wonderful evening....Wynn

I noticed a post you made on Louise Mosrie's FB page (I recorded "Home" for her) and wanted to findout more about your music. I'm a new fan, and you're in good company with Jennings, had the pleasure of making his acquaintance when I first landed in Nashville and he still lived here. Hope to see a show around town sometime soon! Best of luck.

I was driving across NJ Highlands this afternoon and I though of seeing you in New Palz last spring. I guess I miss you and now I will deploy the Muppet Rule and ask right out loud for another chance to hear the Paris attic studio song one more time (and see you dance with your familiar, to boot) Someday you'll know I was the one. Just got Dwelling in the mail. Thanks for sending it out and including such a sweet letter. As I expected, it sounds GREAT! I can't wait to see and hear you in-person again. February 22, 2010 @06:02 pm
You rock!
Supposed to go to do something else, but compelled to look at your site.
Your song about leaving Nashville still haunts me ... searching for change for gas money. Cleveland, Ohio Thanksgiving 2007
I love that you can play your axe and rock out and you can write a beautiful, simple melody that says
something poetically, honestly. Your voice is married to the song.
Your music grabs me.
Come back to the Barking Spider in Cleveland, Ohio.
Congrats on winning the contest
February 19, 2010 @09:02 pm

I met you at Artmospere in Lafayette, LA. Great to hear from you and your music. Sounds great. Keep Rockin'!
July 07, 2008 @03:07 pm
Hee Haw Melissa!
We too shelter under this same Big Sky. I love watching you play and move around at the same time. I mentioned that I saw this like ballet in your act, but it is more than that. The instrument seems to become animated through your translations. You hold a frame and make the whole room rotate around it. People who do stuff like this were once referred to as Sorceresses. How fortunate that you live during this enlightened age where magic is nearly indistinguishable from Disney! Your parlor tricks are very amusing and entertaining. I imagine that you are capable of more sophisticated manifestations and my curiosity does go there against a better judgment. So when you look up at those stars at night, so big and bright deep in the heart of you-know-what, think sometime of your older gentleman friend who saw you and also sees the little dim stars of New Jersey – one and the same. My ways and your frames make a nice pattern somehow, nay?
Love - Walter
